St. Kitts and Nevis

Nevis is an offshore jurisdiction situated at 17 north latitude and 52 west longitude and is located in the Leeward Islands approximately 2,000 km south-east of Miami. Columbus sighted and named the Island on his second voyage in 1493.
Nevis has its own Legislative Assembly which took advantage of its autonomous powers to pass the Nevis Business Corporation Ordinance in 1984. Based upon American corporate law of the state of Delaware, and featuring simplicity and flexibility, the law's primary attractions for international business are its all-inclusive tax exemption section and a low fee schedule. The Nevis Business Corporation Ordinance is considered by many international attorneys to be the most flexible corporate statute available from any offshore centre.
Nevis began as an offshore financial jurisdiction in 1984 with the enactment of Nevis Business Corporation Ordinance. It has since developed to meet the increasing demands of the international financial community. Nevis now offers a wide range of modern, well-planned legislation including limited liability companies, international asset protection trusts and offshore banking.
